After The Dawn. Bella and Edward are together forever... literally. Their marriage has been bliss, their daughter, Renesmee is alive and healthy, safe from the Volturi... at least, for now.
Jacob rarely leaves Renesmee's side as he watches her in her rapid growth. The object of his imprinting, Renesmee grows into a beautiful hybrid with the looks of both Edward and Bella, easily making her a sight to behold for any and all. Her beauty, however, tends to draw attention that would much rather be averted, leading her into dangers not yet faced and perils that lie hidden.
Jacob, the current Alpha of his pack, must also remember his duties as such, while still giving Renesmee all that she needs and wishes for. Jacob's pack, in correlation with Sam's pack, must help to keep the balance between the Vampires, Shape-Shifters and any other threats that may potentially be on the horizon.
As Renesmee develops and as the plot thickens, worlds collide as lives intertwine in unexpected ways. Bella and Edward, happily married in their eternal bond, must continue to protect their child, from both the evils and perils of the world and the dangers it possesses.

Trigonometry... Aka TORTURE!!! « Thread Started on Dec 27, 2008, 5:44pm »
Jamie was sitting in the middle of Trigonometry listening to his professor blather on and on about the importance of logarithms. Jamie was spacing out when they entered. There were two of them. They were vampires. Anyone with a trained eye could see that. Jamie had been at Forks for two days and he had heard the rumors of the newlywed Cullens. These must be them. Jamie was amazed, there were two of them, they were introduced as Edward and Bella. The two of them wore sunglasses to hide their eyes, but Jamie could see the that their eyes were amber. The two of them stood until they were told to take their seats. the only empty seats were the ones on either side of Jamie. As they moved closer, Jamie felt his chest constrict as they approached. 'They must be talented' Jamie thought. Jamie's breaths became gasps and he clutched the table to keep himself from falling over as they approached.

Bella would endure anything for Edward. He was her life and anyone who knew her knew that. This was why she agreed to go to school... to the new college in Forks. Granted, she had never attended College, but she was happy that it had been built here, for it allowed her and the Cullens to remain near her family for longer.
Upon entering the room, she caught the scent of another vampire, very easily. She turned her head directly toward him when she entered and didn't even have to look toward Edward to know he had found the same person. She wondered what this vampire was doing here and whether or not he was any threat. She assumed not, only because he was attending a school with humans, but you could never be too sure.
She removed her sunglasses and placed them on top of her head in an easy fashion. She would much prefer to have no sunglasses, but to some persistence of Alice and her outrageous fashion statements, she insisted.
Bella looked around and found a spot with two seats next to each other that were empty and led Edward in that direction. It's not like she really cared to be in the school, considering she had only just graduated from High School and she was still considered a newborn. She would have quite enjoyed taking a year or so off, but her father insisted she keep going to school and further her education. She sighed silently to herself and sat gracefully into her chair.
She noticed the other vampire in the room seemingly gasping and clutching the table and she wondered what was wrong. Surely he could control himself if he was in a room with a bunch of humans, right? Honestly, why would you try to expose yourself like that, unless you wanted the Volturi coming after you.

'No,' Jamie thought to himself. 'I will not leave this room just because these vampires are talented. It is ridiculous for me to have to leave just because of them. I refuse to let them affect me this way. They probably think I'm crazy right now' Jamie groaned inwardly as they stepped closer. He was determined to act polite and friendly without letting them know how bad it was. The male, Edward as he was introduced to the class walked a little faster than Bella and it took about two seconds before Jamie realized what talent the vampire had as voices filled his head.
'Ugh...' someone was thinking, 'this is SOOO boring. Why do I even have to take this stupid class' and soon other voices were filling his head. 'When on Earth are we going to use Logarithms in everyday life?' more voices were filling his head by the second and Jamie was becoming visibly pale. Jamie barely showed the struggle he was going through. He was trying desperately not to show how much effort it took to keep silent as the plethora of voices grew until the voices grew in volume to the equivalent of standing in an airfield of planes with vampire hearing.
Jamie jabbed his fingers into his temples as he continued to hold himself up with his elbows, hoping the pain would distract him or that the voices would quiet. 'How did Edward keep himself from going insane?' Jamie thought to himself incredulously. The voices continued to grow in volume, causing Jamie to become extremely uncomfortable. 'It's time for me to break my silence' Jamie thought to himself despairingly. He was going to have to excuse himself and make it across the room without anyone knowing how weak he was. How was he going to make it across the room without collapsing? Jamie stiffened as Bella finished telling the class her life's story and she turned to take her seat. 'No! She can't be talented too!'
Jamie didn't think he could take two talents at once. He would crumple in a matter of seconds. Then how would he explain that and keep people from touching him? It wouldn't do for his arm to shatter in class. That wouldn't allow him to keep his secrets. Jamie drew in a shaky breath and he ran at vampire speed out of the room before Bella could get an inch closer to him. He ran as fast as he could on his incredibly shaky legs. He nearly fell over twice, but he made it out into the hall. He moved to the other side of the small campus before he collapsed onto the floor, his body shaking with large tremors. Jamie let out a gasp as he felt his body consume itself. Jamie saw his reflection in a window and he saw his skin draw tighter onto his already skinny frame. Jamie looked even more unhealthy than before. The fog in Jamie's head cleared and he began to panic. How on Earth was he going to explain that he got out of the room unseen. He couldn't even go back into that room, lest he collapse. What was he to do?

Jamie hurriedly forced himself forward; away from the Cullens and toward the parking lot. He had to get away so he could think logically. Jamie took a left turn down the hall and he could see the sky outside, a murky gray source of freedom. He felt the pain in his chest die down with every step he took away from that accursed classroom. Jamie exited the building and sat by the door, attempting to figure the situation out. Jamie couldn't go back to class, of that he was sure, but what could he do? He couldn't avoid them forever! Jamie was finally away from people and their thoughts and away from talented vampires so he could relax. Jamie took a deep breath before his mind began racing. 'You Idiot! You just caused problems for yourself if anyone was paying attention to you!' Jamie mentally shouted at himself. 'Wait, it's not all bad, the Cullens should be able to cover for me if they want to protect their place in this city. So, if they are merciful and protecting themselves, I shouldn't have to come up with an excuse, I can just say I was sick and I ran to the restroom.' Jamie relaxed a little more, 'yes, I can use that excuse to stay out of class for the rest of the period. Then,' Jamie continued planning, 'I can get my work so that takes care of the humans, but what do I do about the vamps? I wonder if I can get a message to them to let me talk to an untalented vamp in their family. If they have one that is.' Jamie thought snidely. Jamie continued plotting for the rest of the period and when he heard the bell ring to go to their afternoon classes Jamie waited for the halls to clear before returning to the room for his supplies and his work, excusing himself to the professor and letting him know that he felt sick and had to run to the restroom. Professor Richard, the trigonometry professor, let him off and gave him his assignment before Jamie hurried to his next class: Anatomy. Jamie moved down the halls, searching for the Cullens scent on one of the lockers. He quickly found it and placed a note he had written in it. The note read,
Isabella and Edward Cullen,
I am sorry for my reaction to your presence earlier today and I deeply apologize; you must have thought I was possessed or some such nonsense. The truth is that while Edward has a talent that causes him slight annoyance, my talent makes it impossible to be around another talented vampire, lest I absorb their talent. The absorption isn't painful, but my body attempts to augment their ability and in the process it consumes itself and leaves me weak and vulnerable. It weakens me to such an extent my body becomes so brittle that it will literally fall apart at the seams and crumble to dust. I would love to speak with other members of your family that are not talented if you please. Leave a note in my locker if you wish to meet with me.
